It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve as Founder and President and I greet you on behalf of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Central Alabama Chapter, Inc. I am pleased that you are visiting our web site, and I trust you will gain a wealth of information about our Chapter.
With almost 500 well-wishers, supporters, elected officials, and national officers in attendance at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center on September, 2013, we were Chartered and became an affiliate Chapter of NCBW. Our Chapter is comprised of 52 progressive women of color from all geo-political and socio-economic backgrounds across the Central Alabama region, sharing a common interest. The Chapter is a vital and relevant part of the community, focusing on the areas of advocacy, education, cultural enrichment, health issues, community service, financial literacy and leadership development.
As an advocacy organization, we are proud to speak out on issues that impact gender, racial and social equality. We encourage you to visit our website often to stay abreast of our initiatives, programs and events.
In the Spirit of Sisterhood,
NCBW – Central Alabama Chapter, Inc.
